Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Oversee a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress, and resource allocation.
  • Cost Estimation: Create accurate cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
  • Scheduling: Create schedules for workers and subcontractors, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Subcontractor Management: Hire additional subcontractors and assign work accordingly.
  • Job Site Operations: Maintain a daily log for the job site's operations, reporting to management as necessary.
  • Process Improvement: Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Possess knowledge and ability to read site plans and operate GPS for grade control.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent.
  • Operational Skills: Ability to operate equipment.
  • Sitework Experience: Strong background in sitework construction.
  • Business Acumen: Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and project management.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Certifications: OSHA Certified and Hoisting License.
  • Driver's License: Clean and valid Driver's License.
