Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Covenant Living. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for providing semi-skilled maintenance services to ensure the upkeep of our buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including appliance repair, light carpentry, and routine motor vehicle maintenance
  • Inspect facilities, systems, and components to ensure safety and cleanliness
  • Identify and troubleshoot building and equipment issues
  • Assist other maintenance staff as needed
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage
Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Valid Illinois Driver's License and good driving record
  • Basic skills in multiple areas, including auto/small engine mechanics, carpentry, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, and low voltage applications
