Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Covenant Living. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing semi-skilled maintenance services to keep our facilities in good repair.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete assigned work requests and preventative maintenance work orders as assigned by supervisor or department director.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including appliance repair, light carpentry work, and routine motor vehicle maintenance.
- Inspect facilities, systems, and their components to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Use a variety of hand tools and small power tools to perform maintenance tasks.
- Assist other maintenance staff as needed and have availability to be included in the on-call schedule.
- High school education or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
- Valid Illinois Driver's License and good driving record.
- Basic skill in a multitude of areas, including auto/small engine mechanics, carpentry, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, emergency generators, low voltage applications, swimming pools, fire alarms, valves, fixtures, alarms, and locks.
