Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Amcor Batavia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, including flexographic presses, extruder/laminators, and slitters.
  • Perform general plant maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Act as a backup Pouching Machine Operator as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of industrial machine maintenance experience and general manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and possess excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • PLC knowledge and experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Good attendance record and exemplary safety performance.
  • High School Diploma or GED minimum.

Preferred Skills:

  • PLC troubleshooting skills.
  • Creating preventive maintenance plans.
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation:

$30.23 per hour.
