Build the Future of Data Security

In this role, you will design, plan, and implement solutions that improve and verify the security posture of Snowflake products and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing secure-by-default architecture
  • Leading a small team to produce results and grow the security program
  • Developing and maintaining security testing tools and techniques
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results

We are looking for a strong communicator with expert knowledge of security testing tools and techniques. If you have a proven ability to grow and lead a small team, and have empathy for the developer experience, we want to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • Ability to design and write program specifications for self and others
  • Self-starting and independent, with the ability to manage and drive projects to completion
  • Experience with designing and implementing distributed software systems with robust APIs

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with production service development in Go
  • Ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries
  • Understanding and properly applying software algorithms and data structures

Every Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company's confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. The estimated base salary range for this role is $235,000 - $368,000, and the role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.
