About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulatory Surgery Nurse to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating patient preferences and needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as per hospital policy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education.
  • No experience required, but prior experience in surgical services is preferred.
