Advanced Technology Division

Our Advanced Technology Division is strategically designed to enhance, broaden, and diversify federal agency research and development (R&D) support for engineering and technology clients. Our clientele in this sector ranges from innovative startups to established Fortune 500 companies. A key focus of this division involves collaboration across various engineering and technology fields, including emerging industries such as Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Manufacturing, Clean Energy, and Biotechnology. This role primarily supports business development initiatives across the entire division.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Research Analyst will play a vital role in advancing business development within the Advanced Technology Core team. This position involves collaborating with the business development team, led by the Core team lead and Practice leaders. The Senior Research Analyst will target potential clients across a wide array of technology sectors, including future-focused industries such as Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Manufacturing, Clean Energy, and Biotechnology. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality results with meticulous attention to detail in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines.

Specific duties include:

  • Collaborating directly with Practice leaders to assist in the research, development, and implementation of business development strategies aimed at acquiring new clients.
  • Providing administrative and project management support to the business development team, which includes maintaining organized and accurate records, participating in client pitch meetings, coordinating logistics for meetings, and assisting with document preparation (such as drafting memos, proposals, and contracts).
  • Coordinating with the central Business Development team on prospective client evaluations and updates.
  • Preparing lists of potential clients and supporting the development of customized outbound marketing strategies, including email campaigns, conference participation, and hosting webinars.
  • Drafting and collaborating on outlines for email campaigns, marketing materials, and proposal templates.
  • Attending conferences with the business development team and assisting in the creation and delivery of workshops on grantsmanship, funding opportunities, and other training sessions.
  • Supporting business development efforts by responding to requests for proposals, preparing proposals for interested clients, and assisting in contract and statement of work preparations.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of relevant federal grant programs across various agencies.
  • Participating in special projects as needed and performing other assigned duties.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Standard work hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

  • Salary will be commensurate with experience, with a salary range of $60,000 - $69,000 annually.
