SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Research & Engineering), Business Operations has an opening for a Specialized Security Analyst for Restricted Programs.

The analyst will:
Act as a security expert in support of the Special Access Program Control Officer for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) for Research and Engineering.

Formulate comprehensive plans, tasks, milestones, and timelines to ensure effective governance and oversight of activities, processes, and expenditures for designated efforts within the SAP portfolio.

Address matters related to SAP and sensitive restricted information governance and oversight, resources, requirements capabilities, and program coordination.

Engage with stakeholders across the Department to aid in the development of SAP guidance, policies, and directives; deliver resulting outputs through in-person, written, and virtual presentations to senior Department of Defense leaders.

Support various functions including personnel security (PERSEC), physical security (PHYSEC), communication security (COMSEC), continuity of operations (COOP), information security/operations security (INFOSEC/OPSEC), industrial security (INDSEC), and general security administration (customer support).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance
3-5 years of experience in supporting government or DoD security initiatives
Proven expertise in managing SAP administrative processes
Familiarity with essential tasks and tools, including PARs, PSQs, JADE, SIMS, and DD-254's.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding security protocols.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Direct knowledge, experience, and expertise in working with SAP capability requirements, including relevant factors, statutes, policies, directives, instructions, and guidance.
Experience in maintaining compliance with necessary security measures.
A collaborative mindset
Strong communication, briefing, and technical writing skills are essential.
