Job Summary

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Director of Clinician Compensation to lead our compensation strategy and ensure fair market value for our clinicians. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing compensation models, developing tools and metrics to monitor performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement compensation models that align with our business objectives and ensure fair market value for clinicians.
  • Collaborate with the Analytics team to obtain benchmark data and conversion factor updates.
  • Communicate directly with clinicians regarding compensation questions and concerns.
  • Develop and maintain clinician compensation policies and adherence to governance structure.
  • Work closely with the Recruiting, Medical Affairs, and HR teams to provide guidance during clinician negotiation and ensure non-standard offers and compensation changes are within fair market value.
  • Assess and streamline current processes, tools, and documents to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in clinician compensation management, with a minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with clinicians and upper management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with compensation tools, such as Heisenberg.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

We also offer a 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions after one year of employment. Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and state worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full-time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full-time supervisors and above. Non-benefits-eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and state worked. Employees will also enjoy up to six paid holidays per year, depending on schedule.
