Job Title:

Preconstruction Coordinator

About the Role:

This position is responsible for providing daily support in subcontract administrative tasks, prequalification, and construction document management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update address books in databases for quality control.
  • Provide prequalification support between Estimating and Compliance Teams.
  • Enter subcontract requests, including printing, transmittals, email, and telephone follow-ups, with weekly status updates to the manager and final electronic copies for records.
  • Download and transfer plans and specifications to the working environment.
  • Print and scan plans and specifications as directed, keeping a record.
  • Manage drawings, breaking them down, stamping, and uploading to databases, along with maintaining full conformed document sets.
  • Assist in creating and reviewing bid and contract lists of drawings and specifications documents.
  • Enter preconstruction RFIs as needed, tracking and issuing to bidding contractors.
  • Provide submittal data entry support.
  • Take meeting minutes as needed.
  • Scan and file documents.
  • Process transmittals.
  • Create file folders and print hard copies.
  • Book travel arrangements as directed.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or at least three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Proficiency in Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Outlook, and Internet applications.
Estimated Salary:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
