Financial Care Specialist

Duke Health is seeking a skilled Financial Care Specialist to join our Patient Revenue Management Organization. In this role, you will play a critical part in streamlining the revenue cycle, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze insurance coverage and benefits to ensure timely reimbursement
- Obtain prior authorization certifications and authorizations as needed
- Facilitate payment sources for uninsured patients
- Resolve insurance claim rejections and denials
- Calculate and collect cash payments
- Reconcile daily cash deposits
- Two years of experience in hospital service access, clinical service access, physician office, or billing and collections
- Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field and one year of experience working with the public
- Bachelor's degree and one year of experience working with the public
