Job Summary:

Sugarloaf is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Terrain Park Ranger to join our team for the upcoming winter season. As a key member of our park operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests in the terrain park.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain all park elements, including music, fencing, banners, and flags, to ensure a high-quality experience for our guests.
  • Keep signage visible and up-to-date throughout the park.
  • Provide expert knowledge and education to guests on terrain park etiquette and Smart Style.
  • Identify and address potential safety risks, closing elements as needed until maintenance can be performed.
  • Complete tasks and documentation as assigned by the Terrain Park Manager.
  • Contribute to a positive and friendly team environment, participating in job sharing, safety meetings, and other team efforts.

Requirements:

  • Ability to ski or snowboard comfortably in a terrain park setting.
  • Willingness to work in an outdoor environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Age 18 or older.
  • Ability to exert physical effort to complete daily tasks.
