Job Summary:

As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patient information within our healthcare system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct professional patient interviews, obtaining demographic, financial, and biographical information. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verifying patient insurance eligibility and confirming benefits eligibility
  • Gathering statistical information in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Completing payment transactions by using proper negotiating techniques to collect money owed by patients and guarantors
  • Making referrals to appropriate financial resources, such as payment plans and lines of credit
  • Providing exceptional customer service and answering basic registration questions with minimal support
