We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Specialist to join our team at Epic. As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will play a critical role in securing our SaaS infrastructure for some of the largest healthcare organizations in the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and respond to security events in our environment, coordinating with multiple teams to ensure effective incident management.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to develop long-term process improvements, rather than quick fixes, to enhance our security posture.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and recommend new information security solutions to enhance our defenses.

Requirements
  • Familiarity with enterprise security tools, including firewalls, network intrusion detection/prevention, virtual private networking, application whitelisting, and data loss prevention.
  • Experience with log analysis, monitoring, and system/network auditing, or experience working in a security operations center.
  • Security certifications, such as SANS/GIAC: GSEC, ISC2: SSCP, EC-Council: ECSA, or CompTIA: Security+, are a plus.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as PowerShell, is helpful.
  • Exposure to access management, Active Directory, and physical security is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, MFA, and ITIL tools will be useful.
  • Relocation to the Madison, WI area is required, with reimbursement provided.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship is required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required.
