Job Summary

Epic is seeking a skilled Security Operations Technician to join our SOC team. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in securing Epic's SaaS infrastructure for leading healthcare organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and coordinate the investigation and response to security events in the environment.
  • Utilize critical thinking to determine long-term process improvements and recommend new information security solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and implement new security measures as needed.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, network intrusion detection/prevention, virtual private networking, application whitelisting, and data loss prevention.
  • Experience working in a security operations center or knowledge of log analysis, monitoring, and system/network auditing.
  • Security certifications, such as SANS, GIAC, or ISC2, are a plus.
