Job Description

Worldpay is seeking a skilled Public Cloud AWS Architect to join our Cloud Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and managing cloud infrastructure to support our global payments platform.

About the Role

  • Design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures using AWS services.
  • Develop architectural blueprints and detailed documentation.
  • Implement cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Automate deployment processes and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Migrate AWS accounts into new AWS accounts and lead the migration of on-premises applications and data to the AWS cloud.
  • Ensure minimal downtime and data integrity during migrations.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
  • Monitor cloud performance and optimize for cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system health.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
  • Ability to design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
