In the role of a Senior Naval Warfare Consultant, you will leverage your comprehensive knowledge and experience in leadership, integration of maritime systems, operational and tactical naval warfare, command and control, maintenance and modernization, Navy training systems, and personnel management. Collaborate with leading experts in consulting, analytics, and digital solutions to enhance surface ship readiness. Your skills will be pivotal in analyzing issues, formulating solutions, and partnering with Navy leadership to advance surface warfare capabilities. Contribute to the preparation of Navy surface forces and staff for successful operational missions while advancing your career through impactful solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 24+ years of experience in Surface Warfare, including roles as a Surface Major Command Officer, either afloat or ashore.
  • 2+ years of experience on an Echelon III or higher, Joint, or Combatant Command staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of Surface Navy readiness policies and systems.
  • Proven ability to create, deliver, and present briefings, issue papers, and documents at tactical through strategic levels for General Officer and Flag Officer audiences.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Navy requirements development and the Navy Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processes.
  • Familiarity with Surface Navy maintenance planning and management.
  • Experience as a Warfare Commander, deployed with a Carrier Strike Group or Amphibious Ready Group.
  • Expertise in managing the employment, integration, or development of Navy C5I systems or networks.
  • Knowledge of Navy logistics, training, or personnel readiness systems, policies, and management.
  • Experience in developing or validating Surface Navy Doctrine, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP).
  • Understanding of Navy tactical training systems, including Live, Virtual, and Constructive training methodologies.
  • Capability to develop and present training in Surface Navy TTP.
  • Possession of a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 annually. This estimate reflects the typical salary range for this role and is part of Booz Allen's total compensation package.
