Job Description

The JobSquad Solutions Team is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Systems Maintenance Technician to join our team in Alma, GA. This is a direct hire role with the company, offering a competitive salary and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration equipment, including control valves, solenoid valves, and compressors.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.
  • Monitor system performance, checking pressures, levels, and temperatures to ensure optimal operation.
  • Adjust controls and override automatic systems as needed to achieve specified operation.
  • Record system readings and maintain log sheets.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, sketches, and diagrams.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including printing work orders and distributing them to team members.
  • Develop and implement SOPs and lock-out-tag-out procedures.
  • Participate in monthly safety meetings and perform daily PSM work.
  • Manage the Hot Work Permit, contractors program, confined space program, and other OSHA and EPA matters.
  • Start and stop equipment, open valves, and adjust mechanisms to control fluid levels, pressure, and temperature.
  • Repair and replace defective or worn parts to restore system functionality.
  • Install wiring to connect components to electrical power sources.
  • Be on call 24/7 for refrigeration system issues.
  • Responsible for compressed air, hot water, and domestic hot water systems.
  • Maintain facility safety systems, including fire suppression, sprinkler systems, and alarm systems.
  • Responsible for air handling systems and exterior lighting.
  • Coordinate grounds maintenance and safety efforts.
  • Repair and maintain HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot refrigeration systems and electrical controls.
