Job Summary:

As a Diesel Mechanic at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues on our fleet of trucks. This includes wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components. You will also assist customers with roadside services, provide preventative maintenance, and ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on our fleet of trucks
  • Assist customers with roadside services
  • Provide preventative maintenance services
  • Ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers

Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
