- Interpret operational specifications and understand the packaging requirements for finished goods.
- Document daily production metrics accurately.
- Operate stretch wrapping equipment to secure completed pallets.
- Maintain cleanliness of the machine and surrounding workspace.
- Engage in safety initiatives and adhere to established safety protocols.
- Provide training and guidance to new team members.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in winder operations is advantageous.
Language Proficiency: Must possess the ability to read and understand basic instructions, correspondences, and memos. Effective communication skills are essential for interactions with colleagues and supervisors.
Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations and the ability to interpret data presented in various formats.
Reasoning Skills: Capable of applying logical reasoning to follow instructions and solve problems that may arise during operations.
Physical Requirements: The role requires frequent use of hands for handling materials and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds. Employees must be able to perform various physical activities including standing, walking, and reaching.
Work Environment: The position involves exposure to moving machinery and moderate noise levels. Safety measures must be followed to ensure a secure working environment.
Shift: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
