Diagnostic Pathology Medical Group, Inc. - Pathologists' Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Pathologists' Assistant to join our team in Sacramento. As a key member of our diagnostic pathology team, you will play a vital role in preparing, examining, and describing various specimens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pathologists in preparing and examining specimens, including biopsies and complex cancer cases.
  • Work alongside experienced pathologists and laboratory staff in a dynamic team environment.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in a high-volume, sub-specialty environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pathology, Biology, or related field.
  • Completion of a Pathologists' Assistant program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
  • Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $125,000 - $170,000 annually.

Working Environment:

You will be working in our centralized lab and hospital location in Sacramento, with minimal travel between the two sites. Enjoy the convenience of city life while being close to nature's wonders.

Working Schedule:

Monday - Friday, shift schedules to be decided. No on-call or weekend shifts required.

Additional Requirements:

ASCP certification must be obtained and maintained. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exception is required.
