Position Summary:

We are in search of a committed Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role will primarily focus on operational expenditures (OpEx), with a special emphasis on selling, general and administrative (SG&A) budgeting, forecasting, and analytical support for the designated business unit.

  • Take ownership of the operating expenses and headcount for assigned business units.
  • Establish strong working relationships with business unit leaders and finance executives.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the business operations to provide valuable insights on headcount and SG&A expenses.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to assist in decision-making regarding headcount and SG&A.
  • Prepare regular financial close packages and documentation.
  • Oversee workforce planning, including budgeting for headcount and employee costs.
  • Gather and consolidate information from various sources to enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Manage the annual planning process, ensuring alignment between bottom-up requests and top-down corporate guidelines.
  • Ensure that master data and organizational changes are accurately maintained.
  • Troubleshoot any issues related to systems or processes, prioritizing requests from business units.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to transition from outdated Excel-based reports to more efficient solutions.
  • Assist with additional analytical projects and ad-hoc requests as needed.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and seek guidance when necessary.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and data analytics tools (intermediate Power BI skills and SQL knowledge are advantageous).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with FP&A systems such as JDE, Hyperion, Workforce Planning, SmartView, and Oracle EPM.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Experience in generating management reports and handling SG&A budgeting and forecasting.
