Thom Child & Family Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as an Early Intervention Social Worker/Clinician. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments to identify the developmental needs of children 0-3 years old.
- Provide direct child development services and activities tailored to the child's developmental stage.
- Develop and implement Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Assess family and child strengths, concerns, and progress, and provide supportive professional assistance to families.
- Facilitate parent-child interactions to encourage child development and empower families to act as advocates for their child.
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work or Certified/Licensed Social Worker (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC) required.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families preferred.
- Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
- Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners.
