The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Trajectory Optimization Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Vehicle Systems Division, you will provide trajectory optimization and analysis support for our nation's most complex space missions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development of advanced trajectory optimization algorithms and techniques
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate trajectory optimization into our space mission planning and execution
- Providing expert-level analysis and recommendations to inform space mission design and operations
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in aeronautical, astronautical engineering, physics, or applied mathematics
- 8+ years of experience in flight mechanics, maneuver optimization, or trajectory modeling and simulation
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Fortran, Python, or MATLAB
- Working knowledge of optimization theory and advanced numerical methods
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a grade-based pay range of $129,000 - $249,600, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health care, paid time off, and education assistance programs.
