We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at OrthoGeorgia. As an Orthopaedic Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and capturing high-quality radiographic images.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time position with benefits, requiring confidence to work independently and effectively as part of a close-knit team environment. The pay rate for this position is based on years of experience in the field, offering a competitive salary for the right candidate.
Schedule OptionsTwo schedule options are available:
- Schedule 1: Tuesday (7:30a-7:00p), Wednesday (8:00a-5:30p), Thursday (8:00a-5:30p), Friday (7:30a-7:00p) with occasional Saturday shifts (9:00a-1:00p).
- Schedule 2: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (8:00a-5:00p) with occasional Saturday shifts (9:00a-1:00p).
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A formal education in Radiology Technology.
- ARRT Certification.
Your primary responsibilities as an Orthopaedic Imaging Specialist will include:
- Performing and assisting with radiographic procedures.
- Communicating effectively with physicians as needed.
- Operating equipment properly and demonstrating correct anatomical positioning skills.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Providing optimal patient care and customer service.
The physical demands of this role may include:
- Strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers.
- Manipulating equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff.
- The ability to bend, twist, squat, and/or kneel when operating radiographic equipment.
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
