Radiology Imaging Specialist

Award-winning Avera St. Luke's Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist (ARRT) to join its team in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and performing diagnostic procedures in general radiology, including non-contrast CT scans and Cathlab duties. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures in general radiology, including non-contrast CT scans and Cathlab duties
- Coordinate patient care and ensure efficient workflow
- Participate in the instruction, supervision, and evaluation of students and other staff
- Oversee radiology office operations in the absence of clerical staff
- Technical degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent specialty
- BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
- 6 months to 1 year of experience required, 1-2 years' experience preferred
This position offers a competitive hourly rate between $25.00 - $37.75 per hour, with opportunities for career growth and advancement. The hospital also provides a Student Loan Repayment Program, paid time off (PTO), and options for free health insurance.
