About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Services Specialist to join our team at City National Bank. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth opening and maintenance of new deposit accounts for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with various departments to assist and fulfill new account requests for bank clients.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding sensitive, confidential, and proprietary bank information.
  • Ensure operational integrity of deposit accounts and process transactions according to bank policies and procedures while in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Open and maintain new deposit accounts for assigned groups, ensuring all account information is booked properly and accurate documentation is obtained and processed in a timely manner.
  • Provide accurate information to clients, explain and review account documentation, and assume responsibility for proper documentation execution.
  • Set up and implement new account data on the computer system, collect and maintain proper documentation to support newly established account relationships, and review documents for quality, accuracy, and completeness prior to filing.
  • Assist in following up on any missing documentation and ensure all accounts opened are done according to established bank policies and procedures, as well as applicable regulations.
  • Develop and build relationships within CNB to facilitate service issues and opportunities for customers and prospects.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of new account experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of customer service experience.
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
  • Specialized knowledge in assigned duties and on all areas of expertise.
  • Ability to communicate complex and sensitive information, analyze and make sound decisions, work independently, and be seen as a go-to person.
  • May provide guidance to junior colleagues and be a team player.
  • Initiative to provide user feedback to support process improvements and ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Ability to manage competing demands, accept criticism and feedback, and change approach or method to best fit the situation and take responsibility for own actions.
