Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies to drive business growth and excellence in laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage operational plans to achieve departmental goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with company strategies and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of laboratory professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality patient care and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SQL/LSA and Banner Finance, to develop and manage department budgets and ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CLIA and OSHA, and maintain accreditation for laboratory services.
  • Implement process improvements and quality control measures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
  • Four years' training and experience in high-complexity testing in the respective specialty.
  • Two years' supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
  • MLS or Specialty Certification.
