Experience:

A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing physical assessments tailored to age and diagnosis, including psychological evaluations.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to develop, implement, and assess patient care plans, including the ordering and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
  • Exhibit proficiency in technical and procedural skills relevant to the specialty.
  • Provide management, referrals, counseling, and education to patients and their families regarding current care and preventive health measures.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research protocols to enhance clinical performance.
  • Collaborate on research projects and apply evidence-based best practices in patient care.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Commitment to maintaining current clinical and technical skills.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement in departmental policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in the use of electronic medical records (EMR) for patient care delivery.

Work Environment:

This position primarily operates in a clinical setting, with potential exposure to body fluids and infectious diseases.
