Senior Project Scheduler

Vintun LLC is a professional services firm that provides consulting and advisory services to clients, aiming to improve operational efficiency and achieve organizational objectives. The Commander Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) established Program Manager, Wargaming Capability (PM WGC) to develop and field a system of systems to fulfill the capability gaps identified in the Wargaming Capability Capabilities Development Document (CDD). Vintun provides direct support to the PM WGC Team in their duties to enable the development and implementation of the necessary war gaming capabilities for the new USMC Wargaming Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and/or create program master schedules from preliminary and ongoing project information.
  • Review contractor schedules for accuracy and logic, comparing them to what is happening in the field, and report schedule status to all stakeholders on a recurring basis.
  • Design, develop, and maintain detailed resource-loaded schedules for implementation, developmental, and operational systems.
  • Work with developmental and operational teams to develop detailed schedules and assist in keeping these schedules current.
  • Develop and/or modify project schedules and/or the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall Integrated Master Program Schedule.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • MS Project SME with ability to ask relevant questions relating to dependencies and successors along with providing a critical path analysis.
  • 5-8 years of project management and/or related DoD experience in acquisitions, logistics, risk management, engineering, or cyber.
  • US citizen with Secret clearance, TS/SCI preferred.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
  • Ability to work closely with other competency members of Integrated Product Teams.

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25lbs.
