The Division of Social Work at Keuka College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach Social Work courses in the undergraduate and graduate degree programs. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our students and help shape the next generation of social workers.
Essential Responsibilities- Plan and deliver course instruction based on approved syllabi and learning objectives.
- Design and administer assessments to evaluate student learning and progress.
- Provide regular feedback and support to students through office hours and other means.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and program initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Meet with students, faculty, and staff to discuss course content and student progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and learning skills.
- Master of Social Work degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Registered (LCSW-R) required.
- Two years of post-master's working experience in the field of social work required.
- Two to three years of teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Some evening and weekend work may be required.
The salary for this position is $1,000 per course credit.
