Job Summary

The Division of Social Work at Keuka College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach Social Work courses in the undergraduate and graduate degree programs. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our students and help shape the next generation of social workers.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver course instruction based on approved syllabi and learning objectives.
  • Design and administer assessments to evaluate student learning and progress.
  • Provide regular feedback and support to students through office hours and other means.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and program initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Meet with students, faculty, and staff to discuss course content and student progress.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and learning skills.
Requirements
  • Master of Social Work degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Registered (LCSW-R) required.
  • Two years of post-master's working experience in the field of social work required.
  • Two to three years of teaching experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Physical Requirements
  • Some evening and weekend work may be required.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $1,000 per course credit.
