Role Overview:
The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) acts as the main liaison for clients, ensuring their satisfaction and representing their interests within the organization. This position is crucial for fostering strong client relationships that lead to both new and repeat business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client communications, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with deliverables.
- Address client issues promptly and keep the Client Executive informed.
- Facilitate effective communication between clients and the Client Service Team to manage expectations.
- Adhere to Plexus operating procedures while maintaining compliance and professional standards.
- Collaborate with the Client Executive to create submissions and proposals, offering suggestions for standardization.
- Guide clients through claims reporting and engage relevant resources to address claims effectively.
- Ensure timely delivery of services, including quotations, proposals, and reports.
- Work with the Client Executive to develop strategies for expanding client relationships through new product offerings.
- Conduct regular tasks such as gathering underwriting information, analyzing loss data, and preparing invoices.
- Travel as needed to strengthen relationships with clients and prospects.
- Support the Client Executive in pursuing new business opportunities with a sense of urgency.
- Oversee Client Coordinators on your account team, delegating tasks and providing mentorship.
- Engage in continuous learning to enhance insurance knowledge through relevant coursework and seminars.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex issues and interpret information effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for client and carrier meetings.
- Familiarity with property and casualty insurance products and market dynamics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
- Possession of a valid State of Illinois Property & Casualty license.
