Job Overview

Holtec Decommissioning International is actively seeking a Billing Analyst to enhance our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Billing Analyst will oversee all aspects of invoicing, inter-company billings, and accounts receivable management. The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  • Generating invoices and dispatching them to the appropriate clients.
  • Creating various reports and spreadsheets pertinent to billing and receivables.
  • Interpreting and comprehending contract specifications and procedures.
  • Addressing any inquiries related to the billing process promptly and effectively.
  • Monitoring and managing all documentation for invoice payments.
  • Recording and reviewing all billing milestones.
  • Conducting billing reconciliations and analyses.
  • Identifying issues and proposing enhancements related to invoicing and operational processes.
  • Collaborating with other departments and assisting with additional tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining essential skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Strong mathematical abilities along with advanced spreadsheet skills and analytical capabilities.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in project finance support and electric utility accounting.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player to support the accounting function.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven experience in modeling and analytical tasks.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • High level of conscientiousness and attention to detail, ideally with a background in audit or due diligence.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
