Position Summary

This role involves a variety of accounting responsibilities within the organization.

Reports to:
Controller

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Retail & Cost Accounting, Inventory Oversight, and Vendor/Customer Interactions.
  • Aid in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports for the organization.
  • Support the preparation of documentation for the annual external audit.
  • Provide upper management with necessary documents and reports for effective company management.
  • Conduct general ledger account reconciliations as assigned by the Controller.
  • Specialize in the implementation and utilization of computer systems (PDI/Enterprise software) at the corporate Support Center.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of Microsoft applications and Professional Data Solutions software.
  • Coordinate projects related to new implementations, assisting in both large and small-scale projects as directed by management.
  • Collaborate closely with the Controller and Retail Department to resolve any issues related to data streams, imports, exports, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain and update process documentation for all job functions, ensuring accuracy and clarity for future reference.
  • Train team members on processes to ensure continuity during absences.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Controller.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with PDI/Enterprise software (preferred).
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.

Skills and Attributes

  • Advanced proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple interruptions effectively.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Additional Information

  • Reports to: Controller
  • Reporting Facility: Clipper Petroleum Support Center

Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
