About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Attorney to join our team at Bojorquez Law Firm, PC. As a key member of our Municipal Law practice, you will provide expert legal advice and representation to local government clients across Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise local government clients on a wide range of matters, including budget and fiscal management, economic development, and land use and development.
  • Draft and review ordinances, policies, and contracts, as well as conduct research and prepare legal memoranda.
  • Represent clients in administrative and judicial proceedings, including municipal courts.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in state and federal law, and apply that knowledge to provide effective legal guidance to clients.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience practicing law in Texas.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas (in good standing).
  • Strong research and writing skills, as well as exceptional oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Lexis or Westlaw.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in Municipal Law, with a background in State or Local Government Law.
  • Familiarity with Administrative Law and the ability to transition between multiple clients and subjects daily.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to public interest and government-related law.
