Position Overview

Peraton is on the lookout for a Senior Level Systems Engineer specializing in Sensor Integration. The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including the management and coordination of data definitions, integration of tools for data processing and exploitation, and the definition or modification of interface control documents. Additionally, the role involves defining or modifying requirements baselines, assessing the technical impacts of proposed changes, and briefing the customer on relevant technical topics.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in systems engineering and/or systems integration. Preferred areas of expertise include:
  • Development of Concepts of Operations (Conops)
  • Architecture analysis
  • Requirements definition
  • Testing and validation
  • Schedule analysis
  • Risk management
  • Operations configuration management

Qualifications

Required qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field
  • 12+ years of experience in government or industry in relevant areas such as DoD/IC Acquisition process, requirements process, PPBES process, or systems engineering of large complex systems
  • 8+ years of experience in strategic plan development, decomposition, and management
  • 8+ years of experience throughout the Systems Engineering lifecycle
  • 8+ years of experience in assessing, evaluating, and deploying new or emerging technologies into operations
  • 3+ years of experience in project management or leading technical teams
  • 3+ years of experience in segment-level Systems Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in multi-system, service, and interface integration across organizational boundaries
  • 3+ years of experience in capturing user and mission requirements and translating them into systems capability requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Configuration Management board processes within the Intelligence Community
  • 3+ years of experience in test/evaluation and analysis within the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and/or the Intelligence Community
  • 3+ years of experience in facilitating meaningful technical discussions with diverse audiences
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or the ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph examination
