Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled engineer to lead and mentor subordinate engineers, oversee the design, implementation, and testing of distributed cloud applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable information management systems, ensuring best practices and adherence to security and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and mentor a team of subordinate engineers, ensuring project timelines, quality standards, and client expectations are met.
  • Develop, implement, and administer multi-tenant enterprise web-based solutions, with a focus on system availability, security, and configuration compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate requirements, develop product strategies, and oversee the testing and integration of distributed cloud applications.
  • Ensure sensitive data protection and system integrity through the use of automated processes and tools.
  • Engineer cloud solutions in multi-tenant environments, leveraging commercial cloud service providers (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or emerging cloud platforms) within Linux and Windows environments.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • 15 years' experience in designing and implementing information management systems may substitute for academic degree.
  • IAT Level II certification.
  • U.S. Citizen with a minimum of a Secret Clearance and willingness to be read on to NATO.
Experience:
  • 10 years' experience designing and implementing information management systems.
  • Three years within the past 5 years of experience in product development, requirements generation, and testing methodologies, including direct control and responsibility over subordinate engineers working requirements, design, implementation, and testing of distributed cloud applications and services.
  • Three years within the past 5 years of experience in development, implementation, and administration of multi-tenant, enterprise web-based solutions using automated processes and tools to perform system availability and integrity monitoring, validate security and configuration compliance, and ensure sensitive data protection.
  • Three years within the past 5 years of experience with commercial cloud service providers engineering solutions in a Linux and Windows multi-tenant environment on commercial cloud services (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, and/or if needed for the new CSPs).
