Lead Operating Room Assistant

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Operating Room Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the surgical team, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, surgical procedures, and inventory management.
- High School graduate, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of satisfactory work experience in the cleaning of hospital surgical rooms.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
