About the Role:

Ryptic Room Escape is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Escape Room Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service and Experience: Provide high-level customer service and exceptional hospitality to Ryptic Room Escape customers, handling customer issues and concerns in a positive and timely manner.
  • Game Operations: Run our Escape Room Games, and train other staff on these games to ensure seamless and engaging experiences for our customers.
  • Team Management: Train, motivate, direct, coach, and evaluate Ryptic staff, creating and maintaining a team that is highly personable, client-oriented, and committed to achieving and exceeding both the location and company goals.
  • Operations and Maintenance: Work closely with the Operations Manager on the implementation of standard operating policies and procedures designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization, and assist in maintaining and upgrading our locations to the highest quality.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Receive, deliver, and act on feedback to continuously improve our services and operations.
  • Community Engagement: Develop awesome relationships in your community by promoting our brand and services.

Requirements:

  • 1 year prior experience in team leadership
  • Leadership experience (coaching, developing, or mentoring individuals with examples of success stories is a huge plus)
  • A LOVE for customer service (making people happy)
  • Amazing communication skills — must be able to set clear expectations and give/receive feedback clearly and effectively
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in the moment
  • Able to work a non-traditional schedule
  • Comfortable using power tools on the job from time to time
  • Any experience with woodworking, Arduino electronics, and low-voltage wiring is a plus
