Position Overview:
As the Manager of Environmental Services, you will oversee a team of technical professionals dedicated to the preparation of environmental documentation and permit submissions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise environmental subconsultants and conduct quality assurance reviews of their technical analyses related to cultural resources, air quality, noise levels, wetlands, socio-economic factors, ecological assessments, and hazardous waste impacts.
- Provide expert technical support to project managers and engineers to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and guidelines, including NEPA compliance.
- Engage with counterparts in client organizations and regulatory bodies to facilitate communication and collaboration.
- Present the environmental components of projects to the public during hearings and informational sessions.
- Assist project managers by drafting technical reports and presentations, developing scopes of work, and formulating budgets and timelines.
- Manage financial resources and schedules associated with environmental project scopes.
- Collaborate with management to enhance and broaden the firm's environmental service offerings.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in preparing environmental documents, including NEPA Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), Environmental Assessments (EAs), and Categorical Exclusions (CEDs), as well as environmental permit applications for transportation initiatives.
- At least 10 years of experience in supervising technical teams responsible for environmental documentation and permit processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a design team.

Preferred Experience:
- Master's Degree or PhD in Environmental Science, Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience with NJDOT, NYSDOT, or similar agency project involvement.
