About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Guidehouse Commercial Healthcare team. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in driving margin and operational improvement at client provider organizations through a combination of data and business process analysis, project management, and deliverable creation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use expertise in manipulating data using Excel, Access, and other applications, coordinating teamwork products, and leading teams.
  • Work on the Guidehouse Commercial Healthcare team to assess and implement performance improvement opportunities and savings initiatives relevant in the hospital environment.
  • Develop subject matter expertise and business acumen to become a recognized, credible, and trusted partner to our clients.
  • Concise articulate financial results of projects and speak about process measures.
  • Identify key industry issues and assist in developing practice response.
  • Assist in delivering Statements of Work, Project Plans, writing proposals, and presenting to client department managers or leaders in certain situations.
  • Actively work to expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and interaction with clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited University or College.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of hospital and health system operations.
  • Able to benchmark data and leverage that data to assist clients in redesigning operational processes to drive efficiency.
  • Ability to conduct relevant research, perform complex analytics on large data sets, and draw conclusions / make relevant recommendations based on analyses performed (including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
