Position Overview

As a Field Sales Consultant at Michigan Air Solutions, your responsibilities will include:
  • Acting as the primary expert on technical aspects related to the sales of air compressor systems, accessories, parts, and services.
  • Identifying potential leads and crafting detailed sales strategies to effectively engage accounts and meet sales objectives.
  • Visiting current and prospective clients within your assigned sales territory to showcase and clarify products and services, perform needs assessments, and secure orders.
  • Advising clients on air compressor system products and services tailored to their specific needs, interests, and budget considerations.
  • Preparing and delivering quotes, proposals, and service agreements to both potential and existing clients.
  • Reviewing detailed design specifications, drawings, or lists related to air compressor system installations.
  • Negotiating pricing and terms for equipment sales and aftermarket service contracts.
  • Documenting prospecting activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Enhancing organizational visibility within the industrial and manufacturing sectors through proactive networking.
  • Performing additional tasks as required or assigned.
Candidate Profile

The Field Sales Consultant role may be suitable for you if you possess the following qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, coupled with 2+ years of B2B sales experience in the industrial or capital equipment sector; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, convert them into sales opportunities, and meet sales targets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
