Position Overview
As a Field Sales Consultant at Michigan Air Solutions, your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the primary expert on technical aspects related to the sales of air compressor systems, accessories, parts, and services.
- Identifying potential leads and crafting detailed sales strategies to effectively engage accounts and meet sales objectives.
- Visiting current and prospective clients within your assigned sales territory to showcase and clarify products and services, perform needs assessments, and secure orders.
- Advising clients on air compressor system products and services tailored to their specific needs, interests, and budget considerations.
- Preparing and delivering quotes, proposals, and service agreements to both potential and existing clients.
- Reviewing detailed design specifications, drawings, or lists related to air compressor system installations.
- Negotiating pricing and terms for equipment sales and aftermarket service contracts.
- Documenting prospecting activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Enhancing organizational visibility within the industrial and manufacturing sectors through proactive networking.
- Performing additional tasks as required or assigned.
The Field Sales Consultant role may be suitable for you if you possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, coupled with 2+ years of B2B sales experience in the industrial or capital equipment sector; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, convert them into sales opportunities, and meet sales targets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
