Join Our Team as a Quality Assurance Specialist

Staff Management | SMX is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Quality Assurance Specialist. This position offers a pathway to permanent employment with a prominent electronics manufacturer. The compensation starts at $18.50 per hour, with a potential increase to $20 per hour after a designated period, along with eligibility for a sign-on bonus.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time Position
  • Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of products to drive continuous quality enhancement and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee the inventory and calibration of all equipment utilized by the Quality Assurance department.
  • Perform environmental and reliability assessments in line with established protocols.
  • Design and develop specialized testing fixtures as required.
  • Assist in the inspection process of incoming products.
  • Contribute to the formulation of quality standards and operational procedures.
  • Ensure accurate data collection and prepare comprehensive reports.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in testing and analysis within a laboratory setting.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Able to lift 30 pounds
  • Drug screening required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
