We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Senior Clinical Nurse Leader. This role is responsible for advancing evidence-based practices, leading unit governance initiatives, and mentoring others to achieve and grow in their roles as professional nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of patient-centered care delivery systems that facilitate achievement of patient outcomes, support continuity of care, and enhance patient safety and caregiver satisfaction.
- Monitor the quality and cost-effectiveness of nursing practice and governance systems at the unit level.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, satisfaction with service, and cost-effectiveness at the unit level.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to promote a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Participate in unit governance initiatives to advance the practice of nursing and improve patient outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligibility to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a comparable setting.
- Competent evaluation with successful passing of probation; current on all mandatory classes/training.
- Maintenance of 10 contact hours of education/year.
- Member of a professional organization.
- Recent applicable clinical experience in a comparable setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead others, such as effectiveness as charge nurse, preceptor, or clinical resource.
- Ability to learn and use computer systems in order to manage patient information.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population(s) served.
