Overview

Compensation: $175/hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and oversee anesthesia for a diverse range of surgical interventions.

  • Act swiftly in emergencies, providing airway management and administering necessary medications.
  • Integrate technology and clinical skills to advance anesthesia practices.
  • Utilize the latest developments in anesthesia to address complex clinical scenarios.
  • Collaborate with peers in a team-oriented approach to anesthesia care.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of anesthesia methodologies and techniques.
  • Serve as a mentor and educator for nurse anesthesia students and other anesthesia professionals.
  • Engage in the development of anesthesia care audit processes through detailed analysis of patient records.
  • Guide and instruct future leaders in ethical practices impacting patient care.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position; non-citizens may only be considered under specific circumstances.
  • Active and unrestricted nursing license in a U.S. state or territory.
  • Possession of a nursing degree from an accredited institution recognized by relevant accrediting bodies.
  • Graduates from accredited nurse anesthesia programs recognized by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) are preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete a federal background check.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach overhead during shifts.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
  • Must be able to push/pull with a force of 30 lbs.
