Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and practices relevant to the position; engage in necessary safety training; promote a culture of safety.
  • Offer expert knowledge in automation/control systems and instrumentation.
  • Facilitate technical and engineering communication between various stakeholders, including terminal and customer personnel.
  • Support project initiatives aimed at transitioning outdated PLC-based controls to advanced Emerson DeltaV DCS/SIS systems.
  • Develop control systems scope, specifications, requisitions, proposals, estimates, surveys, and designs.
  • Create and present technical and management support documentation as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 6-8 years of experience in automation, instrumentation, and process controls within the petrochemical, refining, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Proficiency with Emerson DeltaV DCS, SIS systems, and Rockwell PLCs hardware and software.
  • Experience in the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of control systems.
  • Understanding of planning, scheduling, and general project management methodologies.
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences and communicate effectively.
  • Capable of managing a complex stakeholder landscape.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written; adept at creating and delivering presentations.
