Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Wabtec Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities equipment, including laser, plasma table, press brakes, welders, hoists, drills, and lathes.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during routine servicing.
  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repair.
  • Read and interpret equipment OEM and Wabtec manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Comply with all Corporate and Site safety regulations, maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as building maintenance and motor vehicle maintenance.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED and minimum 5 years or more years related work experience.
  • Computer and IT experience preferred.
  • Precise, accurate, detail-oriented individual with ability to follow written and verbal instructions and prioritize assigned tasks.
  • Highly motivated individual with strong drive for results and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to cooperate and possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member.
  • Proficient with specialized equipment used in daily tasks, hand tools, operation of light and heavy industrial equipment.
