Position: Sous Chef
As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in the management of kitchen operations. This position requires a commitment to fostering an inclusive, innovative, and collaborative work culture. You will excel in overseeing daily kitchen activities, ensuring guest satisfaction, and providing constructive feedback while effectively managing all aspects of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain The Smith's standards for all team members
- Create prep lists, conduct checks, and audit preparation methods, with the ability to work the line as needed
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and uphold food safety and sanitation standards to protect the well-being of employees and guests
- Supervise the preparation of all food items within the kitchen
- Keep workstations clean and organized throughout the shift
- Offer feedback and guidance focused on support and hospitality, equipping team members with the tools for success
- Oversee adherence to company policies and systems
- Manage inventory and order supplies to guarantee freshness and timely usage
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to identify problems and implement solutions
- Exemplify the highest standards of integrity and honesty
- Detail-oriented with strong confidence in your skills
- Team player with excellent communication abilities

- Passion for the hospitality industry
