Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Texas. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with regional instructional leaders and teachers to maximize student outcomes in schools across the state.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced SLPA to provide speech therapy services to students in Texas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of pediatric and/or school-based experience and be able to work effectively with students, teachers, and other professionals to achieve academic and personal goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and implement Individual Education Programs (IEPs) designed by supervising SLPs and admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) committees
  • Provide speech therapy services to students, utilizing therapeutic interventions and strategies to promote communication and language skills
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in communication disorders or a related field
  • Valid Texas license as a SLP- Assistant
  • Minimum of 1 year of pediatric and/or school-based experience
  • Oral and written fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish
  • Valid driver's license
