The Printer Windup B Operator will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality laminates and films used in various applications, including cabinetry, countertops, and paneling in recreational vehicles and interior retail spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Printer Safety and Maintenance: Understand and utilize printer safety equipment and procedures, know and use required personal protective equipment (PPE), and safely operate all required material handling equipment.
- Production Scheduling and Quality Control: Have a working knowledge of the production scheduling system and special instructions noted on production schedules, understand and utilize all procedures necessary to perform duties such as pre-staging rolls, changing print rolls and inks, and assisting with cleanup after production runs.
- Quality Assurance and Reporting: Assist in the startup, lineout, strike off, shutdown, and control of the printer during production, package finished rolls as necessary according to production schedule, and work with scheduling and supervision to optimize quality and output.
- Communication and Teamwork: Report any and all quality or task difficulties beyond the crew's capability to Crew Leader, Supervisor, or appropriate personnel, and perform any additional duties as requested to meet business or production conditions or changes.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma / GED
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 pounds as needed, frequently position self to use/maintain personal protective equipment, and work in a manufacturing environment alongside machines and equipment.
